Our Early Careers programmes are the future of our organisation and we are committed to ensuring that your experience here is the best it can be.

As a Graduate or Intern, you can choose to specialise in a range of disciplines including software engineering, project management, systems engineering and control software engineering. You will complete a one-week induction, followed by a structured training programme to equip you with the skills and knowledge to start working on our customer projects.

Graduate Programme

Our two-year graduate programme will allow participants to experience different projects and develop their skills and interests. Time is allocated for developing technical skills, to innovate, build leadership capability, and develop key soft-skills. 


We are committed to providing you with a comprehensive support system that includes a dedicated mentor, buddy, project lead, line manager, and our Early Careers team.  At the start of the programme, participants will have an induction followed by structured training to prepare them for customer projects.

Graduate Systems Engineer

Work on pioneering projects that use cutting-edge technology and innovation for National Defence Programmes. 

Graduate Project Manager

Work with customers to create software centric capabilities that allow them to execute their mission with success. 

Graduate Validation and Verification Engineer

We are seeking talented Engineers to design and develop Platform Management Systems (PMS) for the UK’s fleet of nuclear-powered submarines.

Internship Programme

The 12-month Internship Programme is an opportunity to gain business exposure and apply real-world skills that support the delivery of key Defence projects. Interns benefit from on-the-job learning and specialist training to develop technical, leadership and soft skills.
